As my chamber choir discussed singing a concert of Elizabethan music, serendipitously, I came across this poem by William Birche, written in the first year of the reign of Elizabeth 1. As the three verses are each arranged differently, this will be more suitable for rather experienced choirs. SABar for the first verse, SATB for the second and SSATBarB for the final verse.
