Something a little different! Not one of my usual anthems for church use, but a fun piece suitable for a concert, possibly before the interval when alcohol is to be served?? This piece uses the words of the Latin "proverb" which states that "He who drinks, sleeps; he who sleeps does not sin; he who does not sin is a saint; therefore, he who drinks is a saint" - yes, well I once proved mathematically that 1 = 0, so we cannot believe everything we read. All well within the range of reasonable singers. I have put this in the "comedy" category on the assumption that your audience likes jokes in Latin! With thanks to "Cantate Chamber Choir" for the recording.
