In 1896, in Texas, a railway executive name Mr.Crush decided that a good way to get rid of some old, obsolescent locomotives would be to crash them, head-on, into each other, and charge admission to the spectacle. Mr. Joplin was commissioned to write an appropriate piece. Here it is!
