The first invention is atonal, with the left hand and right hand scattered over the edge registers of the piano. When i’ve been composing and listening it, i had fun, that’s why i made it with amusement, albeit in atonal way.
The second 5/8 size tonal invention has a more lyrical character, it is brighter than the first one. Also, i achieved a certain comic effect through the size and the minor middle part of the form.
