Cuentos sonoros means "sound fairy tale". This small suite was composed for guitar and consists of 9 miniatures. In this music the harmonics play an important role, because they cause the fairy-tale sound .Both ,the images and the notation ,are meant to awaken the fantasy of the performer. The titles of the individual miniatures are in maya language and refer symbolically to important elements of the maya mythology. The pictures to this music I have designed and painted myself.
