Lost Memories is a medium jazz piano piece about lost times that have been extinguished in memories. These gaps occur when something happens in a person's life, usually during childhood, and they are intended to provide a protective space so that they are no longer remembered. What remains is a vague, uneasy feeling that something is missing, but at the same time that you are now safe.
The song is intended for solo performance as well as for a classical jazz trio with drums, played with brushes and for the double bass. Of course, there are no limits to how you can arrange it - the important thing is the melancholy restraint of the piano player in this piece, which reflects the unease of lost memories.
