"NauBahaar", meaning "Early Spring" in Farsi, was commissioned by Duo Montagnard, and was mostly composed while I was vacationing in Pakistan during the summer of 2018. It is written as an expression of the joy of Springtime. Duo Montagnard have performed the work in more than a dozen venues throughout the US, as well as in Argentina. They have also recorded it on their CD of New Music for Saxophone and Guitar, RADIANCE.
