The piece Gymnopédie No. 1 by Erik Satie is incredibly famous and is even used in commercials. However, the great pianists seem to avoid it because, although it is fascinating, the accompaniment, which is basically always the same, can quickly degenerate into an organ grinder. A new idea had to be found. The composer abandoned the original version for solo piano and rearranged the piece.
