A set of variations for piano duo (1 piano, four-hands) based on surname Hallam which is transcribed into musical notes (H as German B, A as English A, L as Italian/Spanish Sol and M as Italian/Spanish Mi). The piece is dedicated to Pete and Gill Hallam's Diamond Wedding Anniversary. The variations have a circular form, starting from very soft dynamic, developing and growing in several build-ups, yet coming back to the original peaceful theme at the very end.
