It is a single movement flute solo piece suitable for young performers and children, who have just learnt the instrument for a short period of time and have not exposed to contemporary music. It is an ideal piece for children to get exposed to modern music. The music comprises of various sorts of extended techniques for flute. Some passages are very chromatic in character while clear-cut and short tones are strongly required to bring out the character of the piece.
The title is called breeze because in the past I have been fascinated by the subtle and mysterious nature of breeze and I would very much like to use my musical language to describe it. The music begins with emphasizing five chromatic tones for providing the beginning of the piece with some stability. The structure of the piece is in three-part form. The first part is from mm. 1-26, the second part lasts from mm. 27-49, and lastly the last part lasts from mm. 50-78.
