Frédéric Chopin (1810-49) was a Polish composer and pianist of the romantic era. He wrote primarily for the solo piano, although his works also include two piano concertos, chamber works, and Polish songs. This version of Chopin's Fugue in A minor, arranged here for bass guitar duet, provides a comprehensive study for two bass players in scale study and position work, particularly past the 12th fret. It should be performed at a steady pace (andante), preferably with a metronome. An ideal teaching aid for a student/tutor duet.
