This familiar old Spiritual is set for duet along with background vocals. The duet is labeled "lead vocals" in the music. The verses are sung in unison, then splits into harmony at the chorus. The background vocals (labeled BG Vocals) are split into three treble parts, although the lowest part can be sung by tenors. In an adult chorus, basses can sing along on chord roots for the chorus, which will probably come naturally to them. :)

As alternative, the entire song may be sung in unison as well.
