Setting of a satirical poem by Gavin Ewart. The flamingo thinks he's ever so cultured, but he doesn't know which country his hero (Placido Domingo) was born in.
The zip file contains 3 versions - two are in the same key (low alto or high tenor) and one is transposed for mezzo soprano.
The sound sample is my own performance

This was originally a setting of a satirical poem by Gavin Ewart.
The flamingo thinks he's ever so cultured,
but he doesn't know which country his hero (Placido Domingo) was born in:

Mi mi mi mi miiii
The flamingo is very highbrow
It scorns pop music, football and bingo
It would like to be an Italian tenor
Called "Flacido Flamingo"
Mi mi mi mi miiii
