"Prelude No.5 is the 5th piece in a series of 10 comprising Corner's Op.3. This piece is in the loose style of a Waltz and romps through culminating in a massive series of Neapolitan Sixths to bring the piece to a decisive close. It is dedicated to Jenny King, Corner's last ever Violin Teacher (he plays the Viola now). Her rigorous approach to technique will not be forgotten!"
