This prelude and fugue is a compilation of two works; one written in the beginning of the school year, the other, at the end. Originally the prelude was in E Major. The fugue I wrote for a composition class, the purpose to write a three-voice fugue. The chromatic turns in the prelude are pastoral; in the fugue, the chromaticism is met with a swing-like counterpoint that prove to be a joyful challenge.
