New Chamber Music for Harp and Strings. This gentle piece in Minimalist style presents an excellent introduction to Chamber ensemble playing for intermediate harpists. There are not many pedal changes and the ones that are presented are given ample time to execute. The introspective and/or meditative (New Age) element is stronger here because of the placid, ostinato nature of the accompaniment. The long, diatonic melody is stated by all three instruments, but the harp part remains the anchoring element.
