This piece was originally written for a student as an exercise for the fingers of the left hand.
To get full benefit, students should annotate the score with fingering for both hands.
The integrity of both voices needs to be maintained as accurately as possible.
More advanced students may benefit from playing some of the octaves in the latter part of the score
by sliding along the 5th and 3rd strings rather than confining themselves to 1st position.
