A simple setting of this pretty carolfor brass quintet. Each verse the pitch goes up by a tone until the final verse which returns to the original key.
Everybody except the tuba has a go at the melody and each verse is harmonised in a different syle.
Verse 1 is a solo for Trumpet 1, Verse 2 is a duet for Trumpet 1 and the Trombone. Verse 3 adds the 2nd trumpet and tuba, Verse 4 is the first verse with all instruments playing. Verse 5 is a trio for Trombone, Horn and tuba. Verse 6 uses all instruments for the finale.
This is a very simple arrangement which should be playable by any standard of ensemble.
For flute quintet
