“Bésame” (from Spanish ‘kiss me’) is a song by Ricardo Montaner, a Venezuelan singer born in Argentine. Ricardo gained popularity because of his love songs that quickly caught on first in Latin America and then spread to the US and the rest of the world. “Bésame” is a bolero-style love song. In 2001, the arrangement of this song made by the Argentine pianist Bebu Silvetti was included in the album “Sueño Repetido” that was Ricardo’s attempt to experiment with his music style a bit. The experiment turned to be quite fruitful. “Bésame” along with other songs by Ricardo became worldwide hits soon after.

schöne melodische musik. spanische lieder sind immer so zärtlich und liebevoll... ich spiele oft dieses stück für meine freundin und jedesmal kann sie kaum die tränen verhalten...

beautifully poignant! I don’t speak spanish (had to google the traslation of the lyrics) but I find pure pleasure listening to this, awesome melody line
