A gentle fugal piece for an evening's amusement. This is an easy piece with a fugal treatment of the theme. It starts and ends in e minor, with a few side trips to a minor/major and d minor.
This would be a good piece for a more advanced beginner. It starts with one note in each hand but as the texture thickens, the melody ends up as a 4-part fugue for the last iteration.
