Programme note:
American composer John Walter Bratton composed the melody of 'The Teddy Bears' Picnic' in 1907. Irish songwriter Jimmy Kennedy added lyrics in 1932 and Henry Hall with the BBC Dance Orchestra recorded the first vocal version the same year.
