After the virtuosic intensity of Sequences for solo violin, the serial/modal rigour of Signatures for solo viola and the folkloristic glimpses of Sonorities for solo cello, SURREALISMS is just plain fun!
The only requirements for the listener are:-
1. A reasonable degree of musical knowledge, and
2. An unpleasant sense of humour.
References to other musical (and not so musical) works should be obvious.
The six pieces should be played in the order written, namely 5, 10 and a half, 2, Infinity, 231 and 24
