The famous tune by Orlando Gibbons is set here for 2 voices, equal or unequal, and a contemporary keyboard accompaniment. The text is the original one written by Phineas Fletcher in 1633. This is a motet adapt for Passiontide, or for Communion Music in the Christian church. It is scored for Soprano - Alto voices but can be interpreted freely by Men's voices as well.
