I liked this very live and energetic sonata by Domenico Scarlatti as well as many other sonatas by the composer. It becomes clear why his music s much attracted such renowned musicians as F. Chopin, B. Bartók, and V. Horowitz. By the way, through the creative work of Horowitz whose masterly performance of Scarlatti’s sonatas so appealed to me I got to know Scarlatti’s works. The composer created more than 500 sonatas. Interestingly, the same year Scarlatti was born, two outstanding composers, namely I. Bach and G. Handel were born.
