Setting of a poem by Gavin Ewart. The "goddess" is not respected by her rich boyfriend, she has to spend her life in a hotel room surrounded by luxury, but he hardly ever visits her.
Finally she walks out....
The performance in this sound sample is by Tasse on recorder and the composer on guitar and voice.
The zip file provides score and parts including a straight alto recorder part and an alternative "swapping" part in which the player can use descant, alto and tenor recorders, as in the recording.
