This music is certainly of a profound and touching character and the melody is just beautiful. A fascinating arrangement underlying all the subtlety and melodiousness of the serenade. More often than not arrangers forget the initial concept of the original piece to manifest their identity in their works thus making the arrangement a worse copy of the original… In this case the uniqueness of the serenade, its melancholic and refined character is prominently emphasized.
