I've played over a dozen songs by Bon Jovi on my guitar and I've noticed that Blaze of Glory is somehow different from what the band usually has to offer to the listener. Of course, their music style is still there but considering the fact that the song was written to be performed in the second Young Guns movie, the theme had to be arranged accordingly. What we have as a result is a light 'cowboy song', easy-going and catchy but without that depth that Bon Jovi is loved for in their music (at least lyrics-wise). Still, it's a very nice piece to saddle on and play for the funs.
