“Thinking Out Loud” is a song from the 2nd album “×” by Ed Sheeran, a singer and songwriter from England, famous for writing such songs as “I See Fire” (from The Hobbit), “Lego House”, “Photograph” and many others. ”Thinking Out Loud” was released in 2014 and soon became Ed’s 2nd single number-one. It reached the top positions in the US, Australia, Canada, New Zealand and other countries. As for the singer’s homeland, the song spent an entire year in the UK’s top 40 and became the most streamed song on YouTube and Spotify. It also received numerous awards like two Grammys (Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance). “Thinking Out Loud” is frequently picked as a wedding song due to it lyrical and romantic nature.

Einer der herrlichsten Highlights des Albums, echt gelungener Sheeran-Song =) So voll von Gefühl und Seele, ruhige, gemütliche und erwärmende Ballade. Die Gitarre klingt eigentlich sehr bluesig und das ganze Stück spiele ich ganz leicht und schnell, zu meinem größten Erstaunen. Vielleicht sind die Noten sind mit Sheerans Magie gefüllt =)

I keep working on this score for the second week now. It seems to fall nicely on piano though the timing is slightly under my skill for now (I'm a beginner). Yet I hope to be able to manage this by the end of the next month as I can't wait to make a surprise for my sister's wedding with this song. Imho, Thinking Out Loud is a near-perfect piece for the wedding day, especially played on piano with the vocals. I wish I could as well have a guitar accompaniment to that.
