“She Drives Me Crazy” is a popular song by the American band Fine Young Cannibals. It was written by Roland Gift and David Steele in 1989 and recorded by the band for their 2nd album titled “The Raw & the Cooked”. First, the song conquered the British charts hitting the 5th position in the singles, and then got to the US market and topped the famous Billboard Hot 100 in April 1989. Besides that, “She Drives Me Crazy” was widely liked in Canada, Spain, Germany, Denmark and Australia. The composition is easily recognized by its unique ‘pop’ rhythm created with the help of a snare drum. In 1997, the song was re-released for the FYC’s compilation-album “The Finest”. The renewed track got the 36th position in the UK Singles and got a number of covers, including those by The Good Natured, “Kermit the Frog”, Electric Six and The Flying Pickets. Other popular singles by Fine Young Cannibals include “Ever Fallen in Love (With Someone You Shouldn’t’ve)” and Good Thing“.
