Original “How Long Will I Love You” is the lead single from the album “Room to Roam” by a rock band from Scotland – “The Waterboys”. In 2013, English singer Ellie Goulding made a cover of the song and released it as a 2nd single for the new edition of her album “Halcyon” – “Halcyon Days”. “How Long Will I Love You” became the official song of the BBC appeal “Children in Need” (2013) and was part of Richard Curtis’ “About Time” film soundtrack album.

I've always wondered where do these young talents come from, huh?) To me, Ellie appeared out of nowhere, really, so bright, young and gifted. I believe this is how next music generation is being composed. Superb song!

Tried the solo piano version of this song and should say it sounds very good, i like it even better than guitar performance. it's a very lovely melody in the end, no words needed if you just wanna sit at the piano and play it to enjoy yourself

Love this song!! My bf covered it and played for me on his guitar at our 1-year anniversary)) I really burst into tears- this awesome song has always been one of my favorite ones (I admire Ellie Goulding!!), but listening to it performed by your second half is simply priceless! Lovely lovely memories and associations… ^_^
