Gallantry is a very easy piece to play. The piece allow different interpretations, so I decided to leave the expression and the bowing technic entirely to the taste, the creativity and the school of the players. It can be easily played with a mixed group, of absolute “easy/beginners” and “early/intermediates” altogether. Gallantry is always very welcome by the public. It is a very pleasant piece to hear, and due to its flexibility it can be played in all kinds of events. It is a melody that alters the soul in the sense of the definition of the old Greek philosopher Aristotle, who is the source of music therapy. Cheerful, kind, sentimental and softening, which calms the emotions.
Thanks a lot for taking Your time to read the text and to look at the score. The score and the sound sample where produced with Finale and Garritan instruments. I hope You like it and have a lot of fun…Cheers…

Je suis amoureuse de ce morceau Galanteio; on peut dire un coup de coeur. C'est sublime et profond; une musique simple et modeste, mais c'est une âme qui pleure. C'est une mélodie qui altère l'âme dans le sens de la définition de l'ancien philosophe Grec Aristote, qui est à l'origine de la thérapie musicale. Une composition musicale parfaite pour la harpe: joyeuse, aimable, sentimentale et adoucissante, qui calme les émotions.
