The Four-Part Guitar Class Method - Level 1 will allow students to learn to play the guitar in four ways: Part I / Guitar 1 consists of playing the song melody. Part II / Guitar 2 consists of playing a harmonized melody. Part III / Guitar 3 consists of playing chords and strumming patterns. Part IV / Guitar 4 consists of playing bass part using the treble clef staff. A bonus bass guitar part is included which is the same as Part IV / Guitar 4 written in bass clef staff. Contents include 31 songs arranged in sequential order starting with three notes through the eight note major scales of C, G, A, and A minor. Songs include Hot Cross Buns, Mary Had A Little Lamb, Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, Kumbaya, Oh Shenandoah, When The Saints Go Marching In, Wayfaring Stranger and 23 other familiar folk songs.
