A dignified dance of early Baroque origin, this Sarabande is a tribute to a Spanish renaissance queen of Tudor fame - Katharine of Aragon, first wife of King Henry VIII. Katharine played an active part in her husband's reign, even serving as regent while Henry was in France, and when he fought - and won - the Battle of Flodden in Scotland. Composed for soprano, tenor and bass recorder, the complete score as well as each separate part are included here in the pdf.
