The first violins carry the melody in the beginning with accompaniment by the rest of the orchestra including punched chords. The melody is handed off to the basses and violas during the second part of the chorus. This is a fun, jazzy arrangement your students will love to play. The set contains the full score and a full set of parts including an optional violin 3 part which duplicates the viola.

Swing version of the familiar Christmas carol, Angels We Have Heard On High, arranged for the intermediate level pianist. The left hand stays in the same position throughout the song except for an octave shift at the very end. The right hand has a few notes which bend using a minor second interval and harmonies are in thirds and sixths. There is a good mix of slurred and staccato notes. All in all there is a really nice jazz flavor captured for this carol which ends softly with a 6th chord. ASCAP
