“Sorry” is a dancehall pop song by the famous Canadian singer Justin Bieber. It was written by Bieber together with Julia Michaels, Michael Tucker, Justin Tranter & Sonny Moore. Released in 2015 as part of the 4th album by Bieber – “Purpose” – it became one of the most popular songs of the year. “Sorry” topped the music charts of 13 countries in 2015, spending weeks on end at the top positions of Canadian and American Billboards. The critics praised it for the vocals, the tropical house beat and exotic vibe. “Sorry” was one of the three singles on the album, the other two being “What Do You Mean” & “Love Yourself”. The latter was the one to replace “Sorry” on its top positions later that year. Lyrically, the song is an attempt to apologize and ask your lover for a second chance. As for the composition, it’s aт Eb Major piece at the 100 BPM tempo.

I love how, despite the most of the original instrumentation is missing in this piano-vocal score, you still get that exotic vibe and feel the 'distorted' sound effect in the piano melody. I'm glad to observed how Justin Bieber, whose fan I've never been, has matured in his compositions with time. Sorry is actually really fun to play and sing along to, it's one of those catchy soft-core pieces of music to play around.
