Capture your student's imagination with Two Gorillas in the Park. They can imagine the two gorillas wandering through the park looking for fun things to do. This song incorporates the teaching elements of staccato and legato as well as arpeggios (hand over hand style) which helps your student to become more comfortable with a larger portion of the keyboard. The arpeggio is simply the d minor triad so your student can concentrate on exploring the keyboard and learning about clef changes. The 8va and loco signs provide an additional teaching opportunity.
