Psalm 10 You will listen, O Lord, To the prayers of the lowly; You will give them courage. You will hear the cries of the oppressed And the orphans; You will judge in their favour So that mortal men may cause terror no more. Genesis is a seven movement musical narrative dealing with the evolving evolution of life from the dawn of time until today, the destructive nature of the human race and the political issues surrounding this negative fact and the distant uncertain future. Having considered an appropriate conclusion to Genesis I completed this composition by adding the choir to the orchestra with a poem written by my mother. The choice to use this poem was inspired by her sculptures. I added a section from the bible, after the poem, whereby the words, 'That mortal men may cause terror no more' making an appropriate conclusion to the poem. Verständigt euch, Freedom, Terror no more, Courage, Glücklich sein, Peace. I have purposely used both languages.
