As part of my new series for easy to intermediate piano, this is a musical description of church bells heard across a meadow on a warm afternoon. Both hands have plenty to do, but the piece can be played at a speed to suit the performer.
This is a little more challenging than some of the previous pieces, because it requires octaves in a few places.

From my new series of beginner piano pieces:
The title comes from the fact that the LH and RH imitate each other, alternating - but not necessarily on the same notes all the time. This is strictly one note per hand. The LH changes between treble and bass clef a few times, so care will be needed to make sure the correct clef is read.

As part of my new series for easy piano, here is a slow-ish waltz style piece with a lovely simple melody and simple 'comping' in the LH.
This piece can be played by using the RH for both the melody and chords, or by bringing the LH up after playing the bass note.
Try to imagine a big hairy person trying to dance for the first time and the occasional hesitation and stumble!

As part of my new series for easy piano, this piece does what it says on the tin.
Throughout the piece there is always one line that is playing 4 crotchets to each bar, providing a pulse. This only changes at cadences.
The music is in a march style and is one of the more demanding pieces, texturally in this set. This is why I have labelled it as Advanced intermediate.

Imagine a group of children playing Hopscotch, the traditional playground game. That's what we have here, but on the piano. Great fun and a useful exercise for playing off-beats in both hands.

As part of my new series of easy piano pieces, this is another short piece for beginners/intermediate players. It's a simple ditty in Common Time (hence the title) and the LH is mainly 'comping'. In the final statement of the tune, it is in 3rds in the RH to give the music a little more texture.
The tempo in the video does not have to be strictly adhered to so that the player can get used to independent hands by playing it more slowly and building up speed over time.

As part of my new series of easy piano music, here we have a simple repetitve tune that moves between hands in various guises. All crotchets (quarternotes) except for the ends of phrases which are quavers(eighths) and/or semiquavers(sixteenths).

As part of my new series of music for easy piano. this is a simple dance tune in 3/4, but not a waltz. If anything, it's more like a German Ländler. This is a more demanding and complex piece than others, which will require good finger coordination.
In the intro, the hands are very close together, with some crossing. I have classed this as an advanced intermediate piece because of this.

As part of my series of beginner piano music, this is more of a stately processional type of march than a military one. The music is largely unison rhythm, except for the melody and countermelody. There's an opening (and closing) fanfare followed by the main themes. These eventually divide into four distinct lines which, while isorhythmic, have a degree of independence, which is why I have put this into the advanced intermediate group.

The title perfectly describes the music. Again, the LH is 'comping', though at bar 45 it does get the melody.
There are no quavers for either hand.

As part of my new series of easy piano music this is a little exercise in playing staccato. LH is comping throughout, while the RH has running quavers, sometimes in 3rds, mostly in single notes.
The accompaniment should never get 'heavy'.

As part of my new series for easy piano, Rat Tat Tat was inspired by the children's game of "Knock-a-door-run" which came to mind around Halloween.
This piece is looking to exercise mainly staccato playing in a fun context.
Most of the time the music is isorhythmic, with the occasional decoration and a nice little imitation in the middle section.

This is an Advanced Intermediate piece from my new series of easy piano music. It was originally a piece for brass quintet, but it transfers very well onto piano. It follows the dance-form quite closely and is in a minor key.
There is a strong emphasis on the first beat of the bar and there must be a clear gap between the stressed crotchet and the following minim whenever that occurs.
This piece would suit advanced intermediate players because of the semiquavers in the fourth variation.
