Five musical illustrations for a famous fairy tale.
1.In this Chapter, we are introduced to three friendly piglets who build themselves a warm and cozy home before the onset of winter.
2.In this Chapter, the piglets dance a minuet, rejoicing in their new home, but the older brother does not tire of reminding them that a wolf is somewhere nearby.
3. The Chapter in which the piglets spend the evening by the fire, listening to the autumn rain rustling outside the window.
4. The Chapter in which the piglets were afraid of a wolf that got into their house, and then overcame their fear and drove the villain away.
5. In this Chapter, the piglets celebrate their victory over the wolf with a merry dance.
The Suite is written in modern language, is quite difficult to perform, and is intended for students of the Conservatory and experienced musicians.
