"Guildhall" is an original, traditional Fanfare for a Ceremonial Occasion.

The Fanfare is named after the impressive Guildhall in the ‘Old Town’ quarter of Kingston upon Hull, East Yorkshire, England.

The Guildhall hosts many ceremonial and formal proceedings, events and formal concerts within its impressive walls.

"Guildhall" is in 'C' Major concert with a central passage in the relative minor key, before returning to 'C' Major. The final passage is a Carillon (with Tubular Bells) that makes reference to the 23-Bell Carillon installed into the tower of the current Guildhall.

The Form of the piece is 'ABAC.'

"Guildhall" is scored for:
4 Trumpets in Bb
4 Trombones in Bb (parts for Tromb, 1,2, & 3 in Bass and Treble Clefs)
Timpani (x2)
Tubular Bells
"Guildhall" is also suitable to be played on valved Fanfare Trumpets.
