This is a ballet in One Act... originally it was just a bunch of consequent ideas that i put together to have for future reference if i were to get back into it. So this is the second version... the first was simply a bunch of notes being puked on the page, while this one doesn't seem this way. Thankfully I thought on how to make it more memorable after a couple of years. (2019-2023)

The run time is anywhere from 17-23 minutes... any more or less would mean it is being played too slow or too fast.

Most of the inspiration of this piece is from Stravinsky's Petrushka. (very similar in context and plot, but about half the duration.)

I also used a similar concept as Peter and the Wolf.

The Clarinet is the bird. The Trumpet is the antagonist human who is keeping the bird locked in the cage.

The bird is wishing to escape their confines, the only thing prevent them from escaping is the human... who treats the bird very poorly. One night, the human conveniately leaves the cage open from being far too drunk and the bird attempts an escape. the first time was a failure. the human silences or tries to, as the bird sees a new opportunity to escape. This second time the bird is sucessful and escapes. And finds out the life outside is...
