Cello 1 - all tenor clef. Just into thumb position or high neck (goes up to a D).
Cello 2 - some tenor clef, up to 6th position.
Cello 3 - all bass clef, up to second position.
Cello 4 - all bass clef, first position with extensions. Can be played by beginners with excellent counting skills, such as people with ensemble experience who are starting a second instrument.
